Comic Relief Fundraising

Comic Relief, or sometimes called 'Red Nose Day' is a charity which supports vulnerable people and communities across the world. Their vision is to create a just and fair world free from poverty.

Next Friday, Friday 15th March, people across the UK will be coming together to do things big and small, that will help to add up to a massive change.Celebrities have already been raising money over the last few weeks through different events and you might have heard about them on the television.

The main events in the BBC Comic Relief Appeal Night which takes place every year. The Appeal show is a whole evening of entertainment on BBC One with celebrities singing, dancing and doing all sorts of crazy and funny things to help raise money. Comic Relief always says to ‘do something funny for money’ and this year the School Council have decided that we will be doing our bit to raise money by wearing silly hats!

If you would like to take part and donate to Comic Relief all you need to do is come to school wearing a hat, however silly and bring in £1. Don't forget, you can still wear your red nose along with your hat but you need to be wearing your uniform.

We hope to see lots of you in your silliest hats next week!

We raised £272.85 for Comic Relief.
