Children in Need Fundraising

Children in Needs is a charity that wants to make sure that every child is the UK is safe, happy and allows them the chance to reach their potential. Children in Needprovide grants to pay for projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. For example; children in poverty, children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect and disabled young people. Last year Children in Need supported over 2000 projects all across the UK and 13 of those were in Middlesbrough.

The BBC Children in Need Appeal Night takes place every year in November and this year it's on Friday 16th November. The Appeal show is a whole evening of entertainment on BBC One with celebrities singing, dancing and doing all sorts of crazy things to help raise money.

This year's Children in Need theme is Spotacular! And the School Council have decided Archibald will be raising money by wearing our pyjamas!

If you would like to take part and donate to Children in Need all you need to do is come to school wearing your pajamas or even spotty pajamas and bring in £1. Remember, it's going to be funny to wear our pajamas to school but wearing slippers might not be a good idea for playtimes. Wear shoes and remember to still bring your coat.

We hope to see lots of you in your pyjamas next week!

We raised £280.07 for Children in Need.
